Many, many people on Instagram have asked me about my #SarahWaffle recipe. I shared it under the hasthag, but shoot- why not share it here! It’ll be much easier to find.
- 40g oat flour
- 8-16g almond meal/flour
- 4-7g coconut flour
- 8-15g protein powder
- 1 large egg white (or 46g liquid whites)
- 60g unsweetened applesauce
- 30g canned pumpkin
- 2tbs unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1/2tsp baking powder
- 1/4tsp extract(s) of choice
Mix all of those ingredients up in a bowl while your waffle maker is heating up. (Note: I use a Belgian waffle maker that I bought on amazon for $29!) Grease your waffle iron with some cooking spray, then cook until a little crisp. I like to add fun toppings to mine to take it to the next level!
