What is IIFYM?
IIFYM stands for “If It Fits Your Macros.” It’s a way to track your intake by counting the three essential macronutrients- carbs, fats, and protein. You can check out IIFYM‘s website where they have a calculator to estimate your macro intake. I started out with the calculator then slowly adjusted my intake based on how my body was adjusting and my training levels. I did what you call a “reverse diet” for a while where I slowly added more carbs or fat to my intake to see what my body could handle.
Where do you get your health food products?

How can you say you have an eating disorder when you didn’t get diagnosed by a doctor?
What I went through was a terrible time. I wouldn’t wish the feelings on anyone, not even my worst enemy. However, I don’t think I need a doctor to tell me that what I went through (and still am recovering from- because I don’t think it truly leaves us; we just get stronger) was an eating disorder. No two people go through the same exact thing; no two people live the same life. It’s my life, and sadly, I went through it and am still going through it today.
