FAQ

Q&A

Where do you buy your whey?
I like Cellucor, True Nutrition, and NutriForce Sports (you can use my code Rose10 for 10% off their Muscle & Strength page.)

What is IIFYM?
IIFYM stands for “If It Fits Your Macros.” It’s a way to track your intake by counting the three essential macronutrients- carbs, fats, and protein. You can check out IIFYM‘s website where they have a calculator to estimate your macro intake. I started out with the calculator then slowly adjusted my intake based on how my body was adjusting and my training levels. I did what you call a “reverse diet” for a while where I slowly added more carbs or fat to my intake to see what my body could handle.

Where do you get your health food products?
Well, I either go to the grocery store (local, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s etc) searching high and low for some fun foods. OR I head over to iHerb. They have tons of great things on there, so go check it out! You can use my coupon code KNN401 for $10 off your order!

Where do you live?
Sweet home, Chicago.

How can you say you have an eating disorder when you didn’t get diagnosed by a doctor?
What I went through was a terrible time. I wouldn’t wish the feelings on anyone, not even my worst enemy. However, I don’t think I need a doctor to tell me that what I went through (and still am recovering from- because I don’t think it truly leaves us; we just get stronger) was an eating disorder. No two people go through the same exact thing; no two people live the same life. It’s my life, and sadly, I went through it and am still going through it today.
